3.2. Basic characteristics of the included studies
A total of 15 studies with 24,074 study subjects were included: 897 patients were in the bleeding
group, and 23,177 patients were in the control group. Patients with DPPB were included in the study,

while patients with no DPPB were in the control group. The basic characteristics of the included
studies are shown in Table 1.
